Agreed! it's getting to the point where even Comics - comedians!! are
catching heat for their jokes. It's beyond stupid. We talk about freedom of
speech and expression yet go to extreme lengths to squash out that very
expression! There's a difference when a joke is done in jest or in
malice. It would be nice if all these Karens could learn to tell the
difference before all humour and joy is sucked out of the world

He was 17 when he started his journey, but I keep hearing about a time skip of a few years, I think that's coming up. He'll go from 17 to about 20 I guess

Slight miscount there, Luffy sets sail at 17, just like Ace did. If we add a two year time skip to him at that moment, he's 19 (17+2 = 19). However, we have to also factor in the fact that at *least* six months to one year has passed since Luffy has been on his travels and gathering his crew, arriving at this point now, which actually pushes his age closer to 20 depending on how long it's really been in anime world. Either way, he looks great for a kid that's been around since '99! lol
